Tout Terrain’s Tanami is an allroad touring machine optimized for bigger wheels and ideal for taller riders. Like all the models in Tout Terrain’s Expedition line, it’s built to facilitate comfort and functionality on even the longest of mixed-surface tours. The Xplore model pairs with Pinion’s low-maintenance, wide-range gearbox for an ultra-reliable adventure machine that ensures a no-worries ride even when light years away from the nearest shop.

With geometry designed around the increasingly-popular 29˝ wheel size (it also accepts 27.5˝ wheels), the frame features premium Dedaccai steel tubing for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. Tout Terrain’s integrated stainless-steel Expedition rack stands up to the harshest weather conditions, and the bike can safely handle loads of up to 285 lbs. (including rider). Disc brakes provide ample all-weather stopping power, and the bike is ready to accept a wide range of lighting options and other accessories.

The Xplore model is designed around compatibility with Pinion’s range of gearboxes, which offer seamless internal shifting in a fully-enclosed package that’s centrally located at the bottom bracket and is virtually impervious to the elements. Add in a belt system from Gates Carbon Drive, and you’ve got an optimal low-maintenance drivetrain solution (you can also run a chain).
