Tout Terrain’s Tanami is the big-wheeled sibling of Silkroad/5th Avenue—an allroad touring machine that’s ideal for taller riders. Like all the models in Tout Terrain’s Expedition line, it’s built to facilitate comfort and functionality on the longest mixed-surface tours.

With geometry designed around the increasingly-popular 29˝ wheel size (it also accepts 27.5˝ wheels), the frame features premium Dedaccai steel tubing for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio. Tout Terrain’s integrated, stainless-steel Expedition rack stands up to the harshest weather conditions, and the bike can safely handle loads of up to 285 lbs. (including rider). Disc brakes provide ample all-weather stopping power, and the frame is ready to accept a wide range of lighting options and other accessories. Taller riders will appreciate a size range that extends to XXL.

Designed with a focus on dependability, Tanami is ready to accept low-maintenance drivetrain options, like the Gates Carbon Drive belt system paired with your choice of Rohloff’s SPEEDHUB 500/14 or Shimano’s Alfine internal gear hubs. Of course, chains and derailleurs remain options as well.
